Hello!
My name is Sean Taylor Harkey. Some call me "Sharkey." it's clever little nickname that I picked up from playing hockey as a kid. (s...harkey...sharkey...get it?) I am brand new to the Educational Technology Department at SDSU. In spring of 2007, I received my bachelor's degree from UCLA in Anthropology with emphasis in ethnographic cultural research. I am 22 years old and a native of southern california. I have spent a handful of years living in Valencia and the San Fernando Valley, north of Los Angeles.
I am the older brother of 3 beautiful sisters: Kristen (18), Rhainnon (6), and Bridgit (2).

My mom Kathy is a huge inspiration in my life. She is a recovering alcoholic and is now 9 years sober.
Now for some fun stuff...
I work for apple. Apple is an amazing company. I am what we like to call a "creative." Creatives are 1 to 1 personal trainers for apple customers. My job is extremely fun and engaging. As I progress through the edtec program I am refining a desired "end game." I am looking to teach at the community college level in the humanities related fields. Who knows maybe this goal will become a reality sometime in the next few years. Until then, just keep swimming...Just keep swimming...
