So you have discovered Magic the Gathering ™ (MTG™). Enclosed is a Beginner's Manifesto to help you start playing. Here, you will be able to find a few useful tips and ideas to get you started. If you're a brand new player, or someone returning to game, the site will help guide your journey into the world of MTG™. As a beginner, I have had a bit of trouble adjusting to the intense vocabulary and dynamics of the game. My goal is to make the game easier for you. On this site you will find a brief orientation to the game, the basic rules and turns, diversity in the card selection, color attributes and their meaning, and links guiding you to official sites, rules, discussion forums, vocabulary lists, local communities (San Diego area), and updates. The site is intended for everyone, especially those who are even a tiny bit curious. This is your resource to gain a few ideas, and to direct you to official resources and other helpful sites. Follow the links one by one to develop a strong beginner's framework. When done, you will be ready to explore the world of Magic the Gathering ™.
