Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR)
The National Science Foundation (NSF) requires that students and post-doctoral trainees supported by NSF funding receive Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) training.
The Division of Research Affairs registered with Center on Materials and Devices for Information Technology Research (CMDITR) Responsible Conduct of Research Interactive Tutorial as part of RCR training options offered to students and faculty. SDSU is subject to review by NSF and must verify that all persons supported by NSF, to carry out research, have received RCR training. This tutorial meets SDSU’s minimal standard for NSF mandated training and testing.
To register and complete the tutorial, visit the RCR Tutorial page, select “user account registration form” to get to the “New User Registration” page and complete the New User Registration Form. You must create an account under an existing registered group. Select San Diego State University as your affiliated group. The RCR training modules and testing must be completed before engaging in research supported by NSF.
