Excess Study Load Form
A GA may work a maximum of 20 hours per week. A student may have the combination of a GA position and also work as a TA, however, even in this case, the student may only work a maximum of 20 hours per week.
Foreign students may only work a maximum of 20 hours per week, regardless of whether they are a TA or a GA. This is an INS regulation.
