Request to Change Degree/Major Objective Between Departments
The Request to Change Degree/Major Objective Between Departments is initiated by the student when declaring or changing a major for an advanced degree.
This form should be completed and submitted to the Graduate Division for verification of the student's records; completion of the GRE (or GMAT for the College of Business), transcripts from all colleges and an updated SDSU record, and a GPA of 2.85 or higher in the last 60 units.
The student's file is sent to the Graduate Advisor of the major indicated on the form for review.
After a decision has been made, the form must be returned to the Graduate Division for processing.
