PubMed is an invaluable tool for researching a seemingly endless amount of publications regarding all aspects of scientific study including research involving Drosophila.

Flyblast is a great tool to use when performing bioinformatics research.  Along with NCBI, the Harris lab uses Flyblast to study gene homology across different species with Drosophila.
