Alumnus (1962) and 2006 Alumni Award recipient Kip Eugene Hering will be joining the department faculty for the Spring 2007 semester to teach students Petroleum Geology. Kip retired from the Occidental Petroleum Corporation, after a long career of international oil exploration and production in many countries and geologic provinces. Kip brings with him years of experience to the students.
