International/
Chapter Due: $45/ year
Gamma
Phi also hopes that you will remember the Foundation,
which is tax deductible to the full extent of the law, so
that they can continue the programming and Collegiate Leadership
consultant traveling programs. The Foundation also supports
Alumnae who are going back to graduate school through Fellowships
and is there to help you with a serious loss or illness
through several "grants in need." Your sorority
is always there for you, so please remember what contributions
it made for you by remembering to make an annual contribution
to the Foundation. You will be helping to maintain a strong
Sorority.
Alumnae
groups help you get established in a new town, find a new
job, locate a room mate or get that much needed support
going up the corporate ladder. When you have children, they
can help you with all those tricky questions about your
children and what to do. They will also help you find a
new Doctor and even tell you where the best shopping it.
As
an alumna, you will find you never forget the times you
had while in college. They were often times of questioning,
exploring and coming to personal realizations about what
was and will always be important to you. You have gained
much while in College, but it doesn't end there.
One
thing is also for sure. You are not the same person who
entered college. Part of your growth has been as a result
of your experiences and challenges you faced while a member
of Gamma Phi Beta. You have gained leadership skills, self-confidence
and especially friendships with the many women, young and
old with whom you have come into contact. This you will
never forget.
Your
sorority really is a lifelong experience. Please look into
an alumna group here in San Diego or across the country,
wherever you find yourself. Stay in touch with the Sorority
by giving them your change of address postcard or contact
them on line www.gammaphibeta.org.
Remember when you are a Gamma Phi Beta, your sorrows are
divided and your joys are multiplied and you are never,
ever alone again. Stay active and make a difference for
the young women who are following you.
