Program

The program in French and Francophone Studies offers degree programs leading to a B.A. and an M.A. Students may also earn a Minor in French.  French may also be chosen as a language emphasis area for the major in European Studies or in International Business.

Study abroad in a French speaking country is highly recommended in all degree areas and required for the BA in French and the BA in European Studies or International Business. A variety of study abroad options (including semester and academic year programs) are available through both SDSU and the CSU system.

Opportunities are also available for teaching in French lycées.
