ACADEMIC DIRECTOR

Academic director for the spring is Holly Ransom, Lecturer in French and Director of the Théâtre Français at San Diego State University. Professor Ransom is an SDSU alumna who completed her graduate work at UC Berkeley. She brings  a passion for t French language, literature, and culture, with a specialty in theater and  performance genres as well as extensive experience  with study abroad programs in Paris.  A committed Francophile, Professor Ransom lives in San Diego and Southern France. She especially looks forward to sharing her love of Paris with students discovering this fascinating city for the first time as well as with those who have already succumbed to its mystique through earlier visits as she did when she first studied abroad.
