ACADEMIC DIRECTOR Academic director for the spring is Dr. Thomas J. Cox, Professor of French, Italian, and European Studies at San Diego State University. Along with a University of Chicago Ph.D., Professor Cox brings to this assignment broad knowledge of the French language, literature, and culture as well as extensive experience with study abroad programs in Paris, Aix-en-Provence and Rome. A committed Francophile, Professor Cox looks forward to sharing his love of Paris with students discovering this fascinating city for the first time as well as those who have already succumbed to its mystique though earlier visits. LOCAL FACULTY Faculty for other courses are selected for their extensive academic qualifications and their ability to work with American students.
