ACADEMIC DIRECTOR Academic director for the spring is Dr. Mark WHEELER Professor Wheeler brings to this assignment a passion for the French language, intellectual tradition, and culture as well as extensive experience leading international educational tours. A life-long Francophile, he looks forward to exploring the fascinating terrain of French philosophy in Paris--historically and still one of the greatest centers of philosophical activity in all of the world--and sharing his love for these ideas and this wonderful city with students visiting either for the first time and with those who know already their magic and allure. LOCAL FACULTY Faculty for other courses are selected for their extensive academic qualifications and their ability to work with American students.
