Medical and Emergency Services

Medical Insurance/Information

Participants who are ill or injured while in Florence should seek medical treatment and be prepared to pay their own expenses. Subsequently, a claim form must be submitted for reimbursement.

Emergency Services

PLEASE NOTE: Doctors at the Careggi Hospital, the Guardia Medica and the medical assistants on board the ambulances generally speak only Italian. Therefore, students who have a medical emergency after business hours should contact their Concierge for assistance.
