SUBJECTS
Five people participated in the alpha test, three from the non-profit program and two family members.

THINK ALLOWED TASK
• Navigate through the site
• Are there any broken links?
• Does the navigation make sense?
• How do you like the style and layout?
• Please provide comments

SUMMARY OF THE THINK ALOUD
The non-profit portion was overjoyed at having any site at all. They thought that the colors were perfect, since they match the logo and the layout looked very professional compared to other competitor sites. My family thought it provided a lot of insight on hosting an exchange student and it was very easy to access the information they were looking for.

SUMMARY OF POST-TEST
The feedback provided was that the password page didn’t work, it kept bringing them back to the home page and it was hard to navigate back to the home page. They also mentioned that the page view was a bit lengthy. They thought I should also change the color of the hyperlinks which are blue and blend in with the background. Attachments were missing from the AC page. Someone mentioned adding the coordinators contact information on the coordinator page since it’s password protected.

FINDINGS TO BE IMPLEMENTED
From the feedback I received I will:
• Fix the password page
• Create a Home page link
• Work to shorten the length of the pages
• Change the color of the hyperlinks
• Add the missing attachments to the AC page

FINDING NOT TO BE IMPLEMENTED
• I may not be able to shorten the length of pages without compromising the content given the current site layout.
• Even though I password protected the AC page, it can still be accessed by those who know how to find the coding. I may just include phone numbers and email addresses and leave out home addresses and last names.
