The financial analyst will support Greg Paffendorf, Merrill Lynch VP and Financial Advisor in Rancho Santa Fe, California with business development and portfolio management responsibilities. Mr. Paffendorf serves High Net worth and Ultra High Net worth Families and companies. This is an entry level position with a three year time horizon. The successful candidate will be expected to complete his or her FINRA Series 7 license, within 5 months of start date and will also be encouraged to complete other Professional Certifications. Candidate must possess excellent communication and relationship development skills, demonstrate a track record of personal success with an educational back ground in Finance/ Economics and/or related disciplines. A track record of academic excellence is also required. Candidate must also be proficient in the use of Excel, Word, Office, Access and related software programs. The Financial Planning Specialist is responsible for supporting LPL Financial Advisor inquiries related to LPL Financial's financial planning platforms, financial planning systems, and technical financial planning issues.
