Recommendation for Private Henry Wong, Alpha Company, 1st Battalion, 64th Armor
Clinical Skills
Private Wong's history taking showed excellent understanding and ability to synthesize an enemy target. He took a technically sound, detailed physical exam. His exam findings are consistently accurate and he followed up on leads from superiors. Private Wong's record keeping was very well organized and religious. He had excellent understanding and discussion of problematic wounds. His oral case presentations had clear delineation of company acknowledgements of guilt with excellent characterization and accurate chronologies of enemy positions. He was a superb mid-range shooter and would make a fine member of any self-negotiation team.
Clinical Knowledge and Problem Solving
Private Wong had a good fund of knowledge and understanding of enemy processes. He was able to appropriately integrate data, prioritize sweat beads, and develop and initiate a combatant management plan according to the specs of his government-issued firearm. He changed tires in a flash, and could determine which of the ignition system instruments (starter, alternator, plugs, black shiny thing) was the problem instrument and summarily find its replacement. His thoughts appear to be equally catholic and fastidious.
Personal and Professional Abilities
Private Wong was conscientious. He assumed responsibility and was intellectually aggressive in killing. He was excellent in soliciting and receiving criticism in the field. He was outstanding in putting fellow soldiers as well as enemies at ease. He related exceptionally well to all team members and was highly integrated into the team structure. He squared away the butter rolls and newbies like nobody's business. He was consistently punctual, fired on command, sometimes in advance of command, and was available for assigned activities (e.g. midnight raids, tackle football), and followed through with assigned responsibilities. He gave appropriate effort during his clerkship with Major Greenwald. Private Wong's strengths include: enthusiasm, desire to learn, sincerity, and a will to kill in the name of love of country, mother, or ex-girlfriend. Sergeant Anthony Jefferson specifically said: "Wong was an outstanding student of war. The best I have worked with in many years. Wong's fund of knowledge and skills was superior for his level of training." Sergeant Margaret Miller specifically said: "Wong is an excellent singer in the shower and hardly squabbles like most of these grunts do. He can sing top 40 as well as some of the more difficult hip-hop numbers." Warrant Officer Young specifically said: "Wong showed much enthusiasm and interest during his rotation in my outfit. His skills at working the slit lamp and examining enemy patterns continually showed improvement. His ability to do these tasks well showed how adept he was at efficiently and quickly learning the skills he will need as a future casualty. His presentation during Grand Rounds was excellent and he continually was increasing his knowledge base during the rotation by reading books as well as newspaper reports about the enemies and action he had seen. Wong will make an excellent captain in any army or a true asset to any military hospital or cemetery fortunate enough to get him."
I give Private Henry Wong my highest blessing.
Signed
Lieutenant A.J. Campbell
