the start of each Academic Year,
Provost Nancy A. Marlin
hosts a reception to welcome newly arriving Tenure-Track faculty.
This event takes place at the University's
Mount Laguna Observatory
in the Cuyamaca Mountains, about 1 hour east of San Diego
This
year's event was attended by nearly 150 guests,
including new Faculty members, family, friends,
and members of the University community.
