options and the different faculty development awards available.
Faculty
members who wish to apply for a Sabbatical Leave or a Difference-in-Pay
Leave may access the relevant forms listed below. Please
check with your college dean’s office regarding leave
eligibility.
Faculty
members who wish to take a personal or professional leave-without-pay
may make such a request on the form listed below. These types
of leaves must be approved by your department chair/director
and dean before submission to Faculty Affairs.

During
the spring semester, one faculty member is selected from
each college, including the Library and the Imperial Valley
Campus, for an Alumni Award of $500 in recognition of contributions
made to the University, or on behalf of the University. The
awardees are also recognized at Convocation at the beginning
of the fall semester. Nominations are due to the appropriate
Dean's Office in late February. This program is sponsored
by the Alumni Association.
