Edward Omberg
is an emeritus professor at San
Diego State University. He began his career at SDSU as an associate
professor of finance in 1989 and retired as a full professor in 2007. Dr. Omberg taught
international finance, financial risk management, and advanced corporate
finance at SDSU, and various other courses at other universities. His
research interests include derivatives, dynamic investment and hedging
strategies, financial risk management, international finance, and capital
market theory. Dr. Omberg's publications
include articles in the Journal of Finance, the Review of Financial
Studies, the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis, which
are three of the four leading academic journals in finance, and various other
journals as well.
