About Me

    1.         My parents brought me to California when I was four and I have lived here since. In high school my best friend and I used to go to Imperial Beach where we could rent horses and ride bareback down the beach all the way to the border. My high school bus took us to school on the 805 freeway the day it opened in Chula Vista. OK, I'm getting older! But with age comes good things. First of all, time has brought me a fantastic husband, whom I married 26 years ago at the Hotel Del Coronado, a sweet son who is now 22, and lastly a nursing career of 31 years. Time has also given me lots of wrinkles and grey hair, both of which I have earned with mistakes that have brought wisdom, sorrows that have brought strength and lots of laughing! And now I am making new memories. Going back to school with the determination to finish my degree is like going back in time.
