San Diego State UniversityCollege of Education Located in a diverse urban setting, San Diego State University (SDSU) is one of the largest campuses in the California State University (CSU) system and is the only CSU campus designated ÒDoctoral/Research Universities-IntensiveÓ by the Carnegie Foundation. The College emphasizes excellence in teaching, scholarship and research. It is in the forefront of education reform, preparing educators to work in multi-cultural settings through its pre-service, Masters and doctoral level programs. Unless otherwise indicated, positions are full-time, tenured/tenure-track, and located at the San Diego campus. Applicants must have a doctorate in the field indicated or a closely related discipline by the date of appointment. A record of substantial scholarly activity is essential for appointment at the Associate level for all positions.
