Minitab has been used for teaching statistics for many years. It has a strong tradition of Exploratory Data Analysis and there are lots of useful graphs and diagnostic charts. Data can be read in from a variety of formats including Excel and is stored in Minitab's own worksheet format. Minitab has the ability to record and run macros. SDSU students may download the PC version of Minitab 16.1.1 by submitting their RedID. Note: Minitab 16.1.1 includes a license that expires 6/30/2013 Faculty and Staff should see their departments IT Lead for software and licensing.
