I am currently a second year grad student at San Diego State University's masters in Astronomy program. I did my undergrad at the University of Washington and had such a good time I decided to try this grad school thing out!
My research interests are stars (particularly those of lower-mass), stellar populations in our galaxy, star clusters, and large-scale surveys such as the SDSS, LSST, 2MASS, and Pan-STARRS. Currently I am working with Dr Eric Sandquist on a matched-filter analysis of globular and open clusters from the SDSS investigating their tidal structure and mass segregation. For more info see my research page!
I also have great interests in photography, acting, philosophy, politics/civil liberties, music, religions, and hats.
