CUHRE is a non-profit organization that is run solely by pre-professional health students at San Diego State University. Students must complete an application, submit letters of recommendation, and have their qualifications voted on by both the CUHRE Advisory Board and Student Officers before acceptance. Therefore, being a member of CUHRE is a privilege that should not be taken lightly.

CUHRE’s placement of applicants into professional school was 100% for the class of 2005. (Note that the national average is approximately 33% for acceptance into allopathic schools.) In order for CUHRE to maintain its success in placement of students into health professional schools, we require donations from outside sources to pay for Enrichment Instructors, Test Preparation Scholorships, Mentors, etc.
