Blake, Quentin. Mrs. Armitage Queen of the Road. Illus. Quentin Blake. Great Britain: Jonathan Cape, 2003. _10.99. ISBN 0-224-06472-X. 27pp.

This is a witty picture book about a woman named Mrs. Armitage who receives a car as a gift from her Uncle Cosmo. The story tells of how the car slowly gets altered during her initial drive. At the end of the story, Uncle Cosmo and his friends by chance meet up with Mrs. Armitage and everyone is amazed at how the car looks. This book is a humorous look at how Mrs. Armitage reacts to each incident involving her car and surprisingly how Uncle Cosmo and his friends respond to the changes.
