STAT 350A Fall 99 Mini Project, Due 12/08/99


OBJECTIVE: To use some of the more advanced methods developed in this course to study and analyze a real data set of your own choosing (I will provide some if you don't have one).

REQUIREMENTS:
1) Describe carefully the problem and explain what question you are trying to answer.
2) Describe the methodology you will use and the assumptions briefly.
3) Write up your results, including data analysis and diagnostics. Label and interpret graphs and other printout. Explain the statistical results in the context of the actual problem.
4) The report must be neat and on time. The length will probably be around 5 pages or fewer.
