Profile: AUT is New Zealand 's most contemporary university, with a unique profile reflecting their history and innovative approaches to teaching, learning, and research. All the business programs have a ‘real world' approach with the emphasis on applied learning. 11 business specializations are offered, in Accounting, Advertising, Business Economics, Commercial Law, eBusiness, Finance, Information Technology, International Business, Management, Marketing, and Tourism. Other academic areas include: Hospitality and Tourism, Languages, Social Sciences, Art & Design, Engineering, Math, Health, Environmental Sciences, Sport and Recreation, and Maori studies.
Language of Instruction: All classes are taught in English.
Accommodations: AUT offers a full range of accommodation options. These include University Halls of Residence, Hostels, and Home Stays for those who prefer to live in a family environment. As a general rule, students should expect to spend about $2500-3000 per semester for rent and utilities.
