SAN DIEGO (May 31, 2011) - The College of Business Administration at San Diego State University (SDSU) announced that Kim Folsom has joined the College’s advisory board. Her tenure on the board will commence on June 1, 2011.

Folsom is the president and CEO of ShowUhow (www.showuhow.com) which provides video product guides via the web and smart phone to aide consumers with setup and use of consumer products. She earned her degree in information systems from SDSU in 1990.

“Kim’s ties to SDSU and to the San Diego community will provide her with insight that will serve the College well as we move into our most challenging economic climates,” said Dr. Gail Naughton, dean of SDSU’s College of Business Administration. “In addition, her entrepreneurial and management expertise will be of great value to our students who wish to build their own businesses.”

“As an SDSU alumna, I understand the value of the education offered by the College and the university,” said Folsom. “My education provided me with the foundation I needed to help me start my business and I am committed to supporting the efforts of the College and the University as they help to launch the careers of the region’s future business leaders.”
