SDSU College of Business Names Assistant Director of Executive and Specialized Programs

SAN DIEGO, Friday, February 3, 2006  – San Diego State University’s (SDSU) College of Business Administration announced today that Pelema Morrice has been named Assistant Director of Admissions and Financial Aid for Executive and Specialized Programs.

Morrice will be responsible for the marketing, admissions and recruitment efforts for all new students interested in programs offered through the Executive and Specialized Programs office, including the MBA for Executives program, the Sports Business Management MBA program, and the Executive Financial Planner certificate program.

“We are thrilled to have Pelema join the Executive and Specialized Programs office,” said Karen Courtney, Director of Executive and Specialized Programs. “Pelema brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in the areas of recruitment, advising, and administrative services that would be hard to match elsewhere. His experience at both private and public academic institutions make him a valuable addition to the team and to the College of Business.”

Morrice comes to SDSU from California State University, East Bay, where he served as the Assistant Director of Enrollment Services. Previously, he was Doctoral Program Coordinator, as well as Financial Aid Counselor, at Stanford University. Morrice received both his B.A. in Psychology and M.A. in Higher Education from San Jose State University.
