Two M.B.A. and one undergraduate team from SDSU participated in the 47th Annual International Collegiate Business Strategy Competition that was held April 7-9 in Long Beach, California. The 13 SDSU participants came home with four trophies.
One M.B.A. team received first place for Outstanding Performance and for Outstanding Reports in their division. That team consisted of Greg Anderson, Daniel Fulkerson, Matthew Shelby, and Robert Del Papa. Del Papa also won top honors in the stock trading competition where his results bested 123 other students as well as the event’s faculty advisors.
The second M.B.A. team was awarded a runner-up trophy in their division. Members of that team were Akram Bassyouni, Jon Burts, Heather Kalista, and Gregrey Pashby.
SDSU accounting professor, Dr. Carol Venable, acted as the group’s faculty advisor.
