As Bridget Lewis pursued her master of science in accountancy degree, she frequently felt overwhelmed by the process. However, by the spring semester of 2009, she realized that her efforts and those of the other accounting 790 students were about to translate into hard-earned MSA degrees. To celebrate, Lewis, a skilled baker, created a cake which she designed especially for class with the SDSU logo surrounded by diplomas and mortar boards made from molded white chocolate. The cake was surrounded by chocolate dipped strawberries. “I wanted to congratulate those that met the challenge and made it through the program,” said Lewis. “I thought the cake might be a nice gift.”
