Dr. Kathleen Krentler Presented with 2009 Outstanding Faculty Contributor

SDSU marketing professor, Dr. Kathleen Krentler, was awarded the 2009 College of Business Administration’s Outstanding Faculty Contributor.
SDSU Provost, Dr. Nancy Marlin, presented Krentler and the rest of the honorees with their Monty Award statuettes during the All-University Convocation on August 27, 2009.
Krentler has been a professor at SDSU since 1981 and is respected by students and colleagues alike. “Her record at SDSU is exemplary and she reflects the type of faculty member this award has always intended to recognize” said Dr. George Belch, chair of the SDSU marketing department. Her students concur: “it is refreshing to see such an enthusiastic professor’; “a GREAT professor” and “very approachable/helpful” were some of the recent quotes about Krentler on a student website.

A native of Michigan, Krentler earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees at Wayne State University and completed her doctorate degree at the University of Kentucky. |
