The KPMG Foundation awarded its annual KPMG Gold Challenge Award to the SDSU chapter of Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) on Saturday, August 8, 2009 at the annual Beta Alpha Psi conference in New York City. The SDSU chapter received a check for the top prize of $2500.
Challenge participation is limited to only those BAP chapters ranked as Superior Chapter Members for the past year and have contributed to a BAP regional or national meeting. This year, 14 chapters participated in the challenge. From that group, the winner is chosen from the BAP chapter that submits the most compelling 10-minute video as to why their chapter most deserves the award.
Beta Alpha Psi is a national honors organization which recognizes university students in the fields of accounting, finance and information systems. There are over 270 BAP chapters throughout the United States. |
