CBA Announces 2009 Lamden Rising Stars Award Winners

On Tuesday, June 16, 2009, SDSU’s College of Business Administration will honor eight alumni who are blazing a trail in the world of business, community service, service to SDSU or a combination of the three during the 2009 Lamden Rising Star awards event.

The Lamden Rising Stars awards were named after the first dean of SDSU’s College of Business Administration (CBA) and are given to CBA alumni who have earned an undergraduate or graduate degree within the past 15 years. This year’s winners are:

Midori E. Connolly (international business, ’01)
Patrick Goddard (MBA, ’99)
Steven Griffith (EMBA, ’07)
Nepi Ilgaz (MBA , ’00)
Meagan Karnes (MBA, ’04)
Cathy Lloyd (management, ’01)
Jana Malhas (IS, ’04)
Roger Power (accounting, ’94)

The event will be held at AMN’s corporate headquarters, located at 12400 High Bluff Drive in Del Mar Heights. The agenda is as follows:

Appetizers and Networking, 5:30 – 6:15 p.m.
Awards Ceremony, 6:15 – 6:45 p.m.
Wrap-up and Coffee Service, 6:45 – 7:30 p.m.
