Stephen Coslik (’71 finance) was presented with the 2009 Monty Award from the College of Business Administration. The dinner and awards ceremony was held at the Hilton San Diego Bayfront hotel on Saturday, April 11.

The Monty Award is given annually to a distinguished alumni from each of SDSU's seven academic colleges, the Imperial Valley Campus, Library and Information Access and the SDSU Alumni Association. Coslik is the chairman and CEO of the Woodmont Company, a highly successful commercial development firm based in Fort Worth, Texas.

The day before the ceremony, Coslik met with SDSU finance and real estate students and faculty members at Scripps Cottage on the SDSU campus to answer student questions regarding the steps he took to become a successful real estate developer.

Coslik is very much involved with SDSU and the College of Business Administration. He serves on the CBA board of directors, was a founding member of CBA’s real estate advisory board and helped to launch the SDSU alumni group in the Dallas/Fort Worth area.
