The SDSU Business Alumni Network (BAN) hosted their 3 Women Wednesday event on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 at the Corky McMillin Companies Events Center in San Diego.

The focus of the event was “Surviving in San Diego: Success & Leadership in Troubled Times” by three of San Diego’s most widely noted female executives, namely: Susan R. Nowakowski, CEO, president, director of AMN Healthcare Services Inc.; Irene M. Stillings, executive director of the California Center for Sustainable Energy; and Dr. Gail Naughton, dean of SDSU’s College of Business Administration and biotech executive.

The event, moderated by SDSU alumnae, Gayle Falkenthal, offered a forum for the three to share success stories, what they’ve learned from their failures and what they are doing to sustain their organizations during these troubled times.

Prior to the discussion, the audience and BAN members participated in a networking session, allowing attendees the opportunity to meet each other or to reconnect with old friends.
