The Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy honored its top students from the Accounting 321 class completed during the 2008 fall semester with a luncheon held at the SDSU’s Faculty-Staff Club on Friday, February 27, 2009.

Each student was given the William E. Cole Director’s Outstanding Performance certificate and each student was given the opportunity to meet Cole personally, who sponsored and attended the luncheon. Cole is an SDSU accounting graduate, founding member of the Leaf and Cole Accounting firm, and is currently the president of William E. Cole Accountant, APC.

Guest speaker at the luncheon was James Comito, a Mayer Hoffman McCann P.C. shareholder. Comito, also an SDSU accounting alumnus, sits on the advisory board for the Charles W. Lamden School of Accountancy.

All students must achieve a B+ or higher in order to be considered for inclusion in the luncheon.
