Lisa Furnas joined the College of Business Administration as a resource management coordinator. Some of her responsibilities include check requests/reimbursements, purchasing, order tracking, and student assistant payroll. Lisa has a long history with SDSU, having graduated with a BA in Sociology in 1997. She was employed as a Student Assistant at SDSU from 1995-1997 and then worked as a staff member in two different departments at SDSU before returning to school to complete a Certificate in Environmental Studies in 2003. Prior to re-joining the staff at SDSU, she worked at the Del Mar Union School District for the past four years in their Superintendent’s office. Lisa enjoys the great outdoors and sporting events and has participated in all sorts of exciting activities from participating in fishing tournaments to being a pit-crew member for an off-road team. She also enjoys working around the house and getting her hands dirty in the garden. Her two amusing mutts and her adventurous-spirited husband also keep her busy.
