Two CBA faculty members were honored during the SDSU Mortar Board’s 19thAnnual Faculty and Staff Appreciation Dinner held on November 19, 2008 at Aztec Center.
The two faculty members, Dr. Carol Venable (accountancy) and Christine Probett (IDS), were honored by Mortar Board for having “made significant contributions to the education and academic achievement of the San Diego State University members of Mortar Board”. Venable was recognized by student member Matthew Clifford and Probett was recognized by student member Hillary Trevett. Both students are also members of the Business Honors Program.
With 226 chapters nationwide, Mortar Board is a national honor society that recognizes college seniors for excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership and service.
