Four CBA professors recently learned that they were recipients of the 2009 University Grants Program (UGP) awards. The awards were created to provide faculty funding for their research activities. The awarded CBA faculty members (listed with their research) are: Dr. Martina Musteen (management): “Beyond Cost: A Study of International Outsourcing by SMEs” Dr. Amy Randel (management): “When do Race and Gender Diversity become Salient to Work Group Members: Work Group Environment Factors and Social Categorization” Dr. Bongsik Shin (IDS): “Examining Hazards of Second-order Formative Measurement in Structural Equation Modeling” Of 120 SDSU professors applying for the awards, An, Musteen, Randel and Shin are four of the 53 total awards granted. |
