Alumni Association Hosts Career Coaching Day
The SDSU Alumni Association and Jobing.com are hosting Career Coaching Day on Wednesday, May 2. Career Coaches Robert Farrell and Sue Arth will be presenting four career sessions: Efficient, Effective Job Search, Working Resumes, Exploring Options, and Interview with Confidence. The career
sessions will begin at 3 p.m. and the networking reception will follow at 5:30 p.m. Each person attending will receive a complimentary raffle
ticket for prizes including gas gift cards, an iPod Nano, Southwest Airlines tickets and more. The cost is $5 for SDSU Alumni Members, $15 for non-members and $20 for employers. For more information and to register, visit http://alumni.sdsu.edu/careercoaching.
Play Golf with the GBAS at the 3rd Annual Golf Tournament
The Graduate Business Student Association (GBSA) is pleased to announce the 3rd Annual MBA/MSBA Alumni Golf Tournament, which will take place on Friday, May 25th at Coronado Golf Club, 2000 Visalia Row. Your contributions and participation will not only provide a day of excellent networking opportunities and lots of fun, but also support current and future graduate business students at SDSU. Registration begins at 11:00; tee time is 12:00 p.m.
The funds raised from this event will be donated to the College of Business to benefit graduate business students through career development programs, job placement for students, and business alumni networking opportunities.

Class Notes
Mark Carter, (’81, Marketing), recently accepted the position as the West Region Sales Leader in the Integrated Communication Services Product Line at IBM’s Global Technology Services. Carter and his team will be creating new process models to drive business innovation for competitive advantage and conduct business using multiple types of devices. He plans to continually bring his clients optimized communications and networking environments for cost effective performance utilizing different forms of communication and enabling new capabilities by integrating voice, video and data communications
