EMC BUSINESS FORUM WELCOMES SERIAL ENTREPRENEUR JOHN THORNTON – Wednesday, February 8th
Join John Thornton, owner of Thornton Wineries and founder of 20 other successful companies, as he shares insight into the “Relentless Pursuit of Opportunities”. This EMC Business Forum open-to-the-public event will emphasize how family and closely-held businesses can pursue growth using entrepreneurial techniques. The event will be held at the La Jolla Hilton Torrey Pines from 4:00 – 6:30 p.m. Cost is $55 and includes parking. EN ENTREPRENEUR ROUNDTABLE – Thursday, February 16th
Thinking about starting up a company? Looking for resources to grow your organization? Trying to expand your professional network? ALL OF THE ABOVE? We hope you can join fellow members/friends of SDSU’s Entrepreneurial Network alumni chapter for an evening of networking and roundtable discussion. This quarterly forum features three alumni entrepreneurs* presenting their companies (and currently faced issues) in an informal roundtable setting, followed by productive feedback and advice from the 30-40 attendees. The event, with a $10 suggested donation, includes brief networking sessions at the outset and conclusion of the forum. Schools will compete for over $25,000 in cash prizes!
