Aztec Business AllianceFor the past 10 years, the Aztec Business Alliance has provided San Diego businesses with top-notch business students for internships, consulting projects and employment. The Aztec Business Alliance offers opportunities not only to students, but to the business community, as well. The organization was designed to help serve the business community by providing emerging leaders for internships, consulting projects and employment opportunities. Internships are an excellent way for students to gain experience and for companies to meet and work with talented young leaders who will soon be seeking a career in the same field. They are also a great way for students to cultivate a network of professionals in their chosen career. Jessie Knight, Senior Vice President of External Affairs for Sempra Energy, said, “San Diego State University’s College of Business Administration is a valuable resource for companies of any size looking to attract top talent for their organizations.” The Internship Bureau is a great resource as they have numerous internships available locally and nationally in fields such as Accounting, Finance, Marketing and IDS. Associated Business Council is working with them to help breach a connection to the individual business organizations. The Internship Bureau is separate from and works in conjunction with the university's Career Services and is focused on getting recruiters direct access to business students. Unlike Career Services, which offers jobs and internships to the general campus population, The Internship Bureau serves business students specifically.
