Julie Sherwood, 02 marketing, is owner and designer
of the Lucia Bella Handbag and Accessory line (www.lucia-bella.com).
She credits the success of her business to the knowledge she gained
as a marketing major.
VistaCare, a national provider of hospice services, has named Kris
Jamsa, 97 EMBA, as executive vice president of education
and technology. He leads the companys day-to-day efforts related
to education and information technology, including e-learning and
the clinical mobile program. Kris is the author of nearly 100 computer
books for various publishers and founded and managed Jamsa Press,
a computer book publisher.
Craig A. Nelson, 84 finance, has been promoted to
regional vice president & manager for corporate banking at Bank
of the West, Californias third largest bank. He also serves
as president of the SDSU Athletic Foundation and is the immediate
past president of the American Lung Association.
Union Bank of California announces that Mary Allis Curran,
82 business administration, has been promoted to market president
of the Orange and San Diego country market, overseeing the commercial
banking area. She joined the banks San Diego office as vice
president and business banking team leader in 1989 and was later
promoted to senior vice president and then market manager.
Eric Lazear, 79 marketing, has been appointed president
of Amtech Lighting Services, a wholly owned subsidiary of ABM Industries
Incorporated, one of the largest facility services contractors listed
on the New York Stock Exchange.
Daniel J. Sullivan, 78 accounting, has been appointed
CFO of SkyLynx Communications, a provider of data wireless services
in narrow and broadbands.
James F. Smith, 73 accounting, has been named vice
president towable operations, for Fleetwood Enterprises,
Inc., the nations leader in recreational vehicle sales and
a leading producer and retailer of manufactured housing.
