Tom Barman (marketing, ’93), recently left his position as WD-40 Brand Manager to become Product Marketing Manager for Quidel Corporation.Barman was employed at WD-40 for more than 7 years. Instead of marketing household cleaners and lubricants, Barman will focus on marketing diagnostic tests and reproductive health conditions with Quidel Corporation. Besides working at Quidel, Barman, who lost over 100 lbs., is currently writing a motivational book to help others overcome their challenges in a quest for a healthier lifestyle.
After completing his MBA at SDSU in 2000, Caglar Erdogan began working as an Assistant Research Analyst at the Milken Institute in LA. In 2002, he returned to his home in Turkey and went into the military. In 2003, he moved to Istanbul where he became a Financial Analyst for Koctas Home Improvement Stores, a joint venture of Koc Holding (International Fortune 500 Company) and B&Q of UK (world’s third largest home improvement chain).
Michael A. Carey (marketing, ’93) was promoted to Vice President of Corporate Development for InterMix Media, a leading online media and ecommerce enterprise that utilizes proprietary technologies and analytical marketing to develop unique content, an active community and innovative ecommerce offerings. The Intermix Network blends user-generated and proprietary online content to motivate its users to spend more time on its network and to invite their friends to join them. |
