Monitor application progress through SDSU Web Portal
Prospective students should monitor the progress of their application through the SDSU Web Portal using the Red ID number that is assigned and emailed to the student after they have completed the CSU Mentor application. The SDSU Web Portal provides applicants with the most up-to-date information available on their application status. SDSU keeps student information as current as possible on the Web Portal. However, depending on the volume of mail received at the university, mail processing can take from one to four weeks from the date of receipt at SDSU for information to be updated on the Web Portal (this including transcripts, GMAT and TOEFL/IELTS scores, and supplemental materials). |

Notification of Admission Decision
Applicants are encouraged to submit all of their application materials (application, transcripts, test scores, and supplemental materials) within one week of each other. This will ensure that the student’s application is processed as quickly as possible. After an admission decision has been rendered, applicants will be notified of the decision via email.
Notification Deadlines
The SDSU Graduate School of Business makes every effort to return admissions decisions to applicants in a timely fashion.
Intent to Enroll
Students who are admitted to an SDSU Graduate Business program are asked to respond with their intention to enroll or not enroll within 30 days of receiving their acceptance communication.
Course Waivers
In addition, students who have a business or business-related educational background will have the opportunity to request to have core courses waived.
Competencies
Students who are admitted to the SDSU Graduate Business Programs are expected to have competencies in personal computing, quantitative and statistics methods, and economics. Download further information about Program Pre-requisite Competencies.
