Willard S. Snyder, Jr., MBA, CPA
School of Accountancy
Will Snyder has been a full time member of the School of Accountancy
faculty since 1989. Prior to that time, he was an adjunct member
of the faculty, while serving as a partner with the Big 4 accounting
firm of Deloitte Haskins and Sells. Will was a Professor of Clinical
Accounting at USC from 1992 to 1994. Will’s professional degrees
are from USC.
Will is noted for his outstanding teaching effectiveness, as evidenced
by his numerous teaching awards. During his career as a professor
of accounting, Will has been honored over 25 times by numerous student
organizations and the school of business faculty for his outstanding
dedication to students.
Will’s service to the University and Community is manifest
by his participation in college committees, career counseling of
students and his involvement in executive programs presented off
campus. He also has been active in co-authoring articles in various
accounting journals. Will has been very actively involved in the
development of the accounting profession in the community.
Will’s areas of accounting expertise include tax and financial
accounting. He teaches undergraduate, graduate and executive courses.
He has also been very active in the professional preparation process
of CPA’s and CFP’s.
