Bruce
Reinig,
Ph.D. Bruce A. Reinig is a Professor and Chair of the Management Information Systems Department in the College of Business Administration at San Diego State University, where he has served as a faculty member since 2000. He received his Ph.D. in Management Information Systems from the University of Arizona and his B.S. in Marketing from Truman State University. He served as a faculty member at the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology in the Department of Information and Systems Management from 1996 to 1999 and at Trinity University in the Department of Business Administration from 1999 to 2000. His primary research interest is the development and evaluation of technologies and work practices to support decision making. He has published over thirty refereed journal and conference articles on these topics and his work has appeared in the Journal of Management Information Systems, Communications of the ACM, and Decision Support Systems, among others. Dr. Reinig currently teaches courses on the topics of information systems strategy and statistics in the College of Business Administration at San Diego State University. He also conducts management training on the topics of data management and data mining.
