Don
I. Jung, Ph.D. Dongil (Don) Jung is a Professor of Management at San Diego State University. He teaches Organizational Behavior, International/Comparative management, Leadership and Group Processes and International Negotiation at undergraduate and graduate (MBA) levels. He has also been teaching the International/Comparative Management course in the Executive MBA program at SDSU since 1998. His areas of expertise include Strategic Leadership and Innovation, Multinational and World-Class Organization, Team Dynamics and International Negotiations. He has worked for profit and not-for-profit organizations as a consultant and trainer including the US Army, Navy Seals, and Budget Rental Car in the US as well as SK, LG, Hyundai, Shinhan Bank and Samsung in Korea. He is a frequent guest speaker for several multinational companies. As an active researcher, his publications have appeared in many top-tier scholarly journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Leadership Quarterly, Organizational Dynamics, Group and Organization Management, Group Dynamic, Journal of Applied Behavioral Science, Journal of Organizational Behavior, and Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology among others. He is listed in the Marquis Who's Who in Business Higher Education and received the Ascendant Scholar Award from the Western Academy of Management in 2004. He also received the Faculty Contribution Award from the College of Business Administration at SDSU. He received his bachelor of Art in history from Korea University and Ph.D. in management from the State University of New York at Binghamton.
