Jai Ghorpade, Ph.D.

Jai Ghorpade is Professor Emeritus of Management in the College of Business Administration.
At SDSU, he most frequently teaches:

• Mgt 352: Human Resource Management

• Mgt 670: Seminar in Strategic Planning & Staffing; and

• Mgt 671: Seminar in Employee Involvement in Management.

He is also Faculty Director, Certificate in Human Resource Management offered through the College of Extended Studies, SDSU, and has served as a consultant to local and international organizations including: Cox Communications, World Trade Center, San Diego; Riverside Sheriff Association; NASSCO; Price Company; and SONY Corporation. His current research and consulting interests include: strategic HRM; 360 performance feedback; cross-cultural research; skill-based pay; teams; employee involvement; work ethic; unfair discharge; labor relations, and internal grievance procedures.
